Visit from France
Overlooking the Hudson River towards the World Trade Center NYC. Taken by my friend Rolande Boussell visiting from France.. It was to be our last meeting in NYC and I’m glad I forced her to stop here, straight off the Concorde flight from Paris. She was an Air France employee who unfailingly scheduled her flights to include an annual pilgrimage to NYC and New Orleans.
A well-informed lover of Jazz, Dixieland and Blues, The dual tragedies of 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina hit us both closely and made our time together in those places all the more precious.
