The photo is of two New Zealanders during our visit to New York City in 1987, just over a year after we were married. I remember waiting in the lobby of the towers for about an hour to go to the top. That was before the days of all the security that is commonplace today. One memory I have of the elevator is that it was incredibly fast and caused my ears to ‚pop‘. Of course the views at the top were great too.
