I worked as a design volunteer for siemens in New York. From July 1988 to December 1988. I spent a great and wonderful time in Manhattan. I appreciated my american colleagues very much.I visited the WTC three times. One day I was invited to the top restaurant, windows of the world. In the restrooms a coloured employee waited with a white towel besides me, while I washed my hands. It was a strange feeling that someone serves me. A kind of upper and lower classes of society, being at the very top of capitalism. No wonder that the twin towers later were the aim for somebody who want´s to hit this system.
