MY_WTC #235 | Venkatarangan 1999 | From WTC towers observation deck

I am from Chennai (India) and in 1999 a business meeting in Washington State, got me visiting USA. Being my first trip to USA I did what every traveler will do, go around the country. That’s how I came to New York for few days and one of my friends in the region took me around seeing places in NY – Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, WTC and so on. I can still remember the long line and security you had to take to go up all the floors to the top to the World Trade Center observation deck. The view from top was incredible and it is difficult to accept even today (after a decade) such a magnificent building is gone for ever.
